 Not all healing leads to recovery of your previous functions.  Some is just about slowing the decline; the rest of us have to figure out how to be supportive. And accept the person, along with the diagnosis.


I couldn't possibly write anything that rivals Sue's videos in this article. And no, I don't have a diagnosis of Parkinson's. Not that I know of. Nor am I going to start triathlons.

A reminder that nothing is forever.  Our cats who were middle-aged when I started this became geriatric.  Last week they crossed the rainbow bridge--a phrase I never thought I'd use.  Lots of tears.
